We are honored to share a piece of history with all our current, future, and forever guests of Sah-Kah-Tay Beach Resort.

During the journey of purchasing our dream resort, our realtor Jennifer sent us an incredible audio recording—a voice from the past. In it, a gentleman with a kind, elder voice recounts a story that dates back to 1921, when his parents became the proud owners of this beautiful property.

His name is Tom McQuisick, and his family—the McQuisicks—were the original stewards of Sah-Kah-Tay Beach Resort. In this heartfelt recording, Tom shares the story of how the resort came to be, its origins, and the legacy it carries forward.

We were deeply moved by his words, and now, we invite you to listen and enjoy this special piece of history, just as we did.
